Join us for a celebration of LIFE! The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation will host the 7th Annual Memorial Planting in the Peace Garden at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts to commemorate the legacy of the late Tupac Shakur 16 years later and other departed loved ones. Whether you want to honor a friend or family member who has passed away or you’d just like to assist with planting, all are invited to come and participate.
No previous gardening experience is necessary. Master Gardeners will be on site to assist with planting.
Bring a perennial plant that does well in the sun in Georgia’s climate.
Suggested plants: Evergreens, Purple Coneflowers, Bath’s Pink Dianthus, Georgia Blue Veronicas.
Celebrate the life and legacy of your loved ones.
The Planting will also feature a stirring performance from Pac’s Kids, live entertainment in the Peace Garden and vendors at the event.
